About NUTELLA

If you're looking for the perfect reason to celebrate with a jar of Nutella, you should take full advantage of World Nutella Day on February 5! The holiday was first celebrated by two American women living in Italy back in 2007.

In a single day, over 70 million hazelnuts are used in the production of Nutella worldwide. That's a lot of nuts!

Nutella may be new to some of us, but it's actually been around for decades! It was originally introduced to the market back in 1963, but the hazelnut spread wasn't brought to the United States until 1983!

Before it was given the name Nutella, it was sold by the name Supercrema. That's a fitting name, because Nutella is definitely a super cream!

If you took all of the Nutella produced in a single day and poured it into a massive container, it would be almost three times the weight of the Statue of Liberty. That's heavy!

Every 13 ounce container of Nutella contains more than 50 hazelnuts!
